A little about CueCheck

One useful task, made a little easier.

CueCheck is an independent, browser-local subtitle package checker from Draconova. It combines an expected delivery matrix with structural checks for UTF-8 SRT and WebVTT files. It is intended to help editors and coordinators prepare a handoff; it is not a translation service, video player or platform compliance certifier.

What this version does

Check a subtitle delivery package in your browser. Find missing episode-language pairs, duplicates and SRT/WebVTT timing issues. Export CSV or HTML reports.

What to keep in mind

CueCheck does not compare subtitles with video or audio, evaluate translation quality, fully validate WebVTT markup and settings, or certify a platform delivery. Overlap and readability flags require human review. Subtitle files are not rewritten.

Built as a small public experiment

We are testing whether a focused tool can solve a recurring task well. This first release has no advertising, paid plan or account requirement. Feature availability may change as the tool is improved. Original downloadable materials created by the tool may be used for your own activities or work.

Help us improve it

Use the feedback page to say whether the tool helped or something did not work. Feedback is anonymous and limited to fixed categories. There is no monitored personal support inbox in this first version.
